Small family campsite Puy du Fou

A family getaway near the Puy du Fou in a small family campsite was our dearest wish. Our little family consists of 2 adults and 3 children aged 6, 8 and 11. We all have different aspirations when it comes to holidays, but this year we've come together around the same desire: to spend a holiday close to nature. Puy du Fou ! Many of our friends have come back amazed, so we're keen to share one or more days there.

It's obvious that with 5 of us and such young children, we didn't want to book a week in a hotel. What's more, I couldn't see our children being cooped up in a room - holidays are all about freedom of movement. To make sure it suited everyone (and our wallets), we scoured the campsite websites. It's Etang du Puy campsite that caught our attention.

This small family campsite located close to the Puy du Fou is exactly what we wanted: close to the Puy du Fou, calm, nature, respect for the environment, not forgetting the services that have become unavoidable for any holidaymaker. I'm talking about the bar/snack bar for those days when you just don't feel like cooking, and a grocery shop to tide you over. But the best thing about this campsite is its magnificent fishing pond. With over a hectare of land, we're going to get our family involved in this hobby by introducing our children to fishing.
